I found some of these today under beech and yew along with young Suede Boletes. This was the largest of five, with very irregular caps, very lumpy and not round but more elongated this cap measured 9x7cm. The stipe was pink shading to a yellow nearer the cap, it was 8cm tall. The pores were light brownish.
Any ideas please?
PS. I forgot to say that after scrarching the cap and the stipe there was no colour change immediately or after a few minutes.
