2# - it has about 4 cm of tall, and the cap has some brown spots. I'm just not sure if it is from the land or from the mushroom

3# - puffball? Dye ball? it has not steam, and it largure was about 5 to 7 cm!

4# - about 5 cm of cap, and steam about 2 cm! I has not ring!

Very difficult to pin these down from the detail of the maco-features shown in your photos Ricky (a few more images from different angles might help, but it's a tricky pastime at the best of times)

The one I think I can identify, because I recently found it in expertise company for the first time this autumn and because of its partially buried situation is the 'earthball' which is probably Rhizopogon luteolus - False Yellow Truffle (see my image in the Gallery, along with a search of some other likely references and see what you think)

David

Hi Ricky 1# is not Suillus flavidus. Suillus species are Boletes and have pores rather than gills. Boletes also grow from the ground not from wood.

We will still have to keep thinking for now I am afraid.
