Energy Saving Myths
Throughout the years there have been lots of facts and myths bandied about, that have left many people confused about how they can really say their energy.
For example, most people think that they're actually saving energy if they leave a fluorescent tube switched on, rather than switching it off when they don't need it. it seems that several decades ago, someone started a rumour that the starter switch consume so much energy that of more efficient to do is leave the fluorescent light on for 24 hours a day.
So what myths have you heard over the years?

On quite a few occasions I've heard a myth about refrigerators that are rated from A to G in the shops. The myth goes something like a raging fridges are great, as long as you are not using them, or rather not opening and closing the door too often. However, if you plan on opening and closing the door of your fridge more than a few times a day then, you're better off with a D-G fridge.
This is surely just a load of rubbish and maybe even just a clever bit of marketing by the companies that are produced rubbishy fridges.
