Eco tourism on travel!
The latest trend in tourism is travel that combines preserving the natural world and sustaining the well-being of the human cultures that inhabit it. Known as ecotourism, the industry was unknown a decade ago yet now receives rave reviews from environmentally conscious travelers who immerse themselves in pristine places and authentic experiences. Ecotourism in menorca spain are greatly practice and develop since menorca is environmental friendly.

I'm dubious about some things labelled as 'eco-tourism'. Look halfway down this piece - BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Tigers 'at risk' from pig hunters - and we read that people are planning a mass wild pig hunt and pig-baiting with dogs to attract visitors as "eco-tourists"!

Travel 2009
An interesting piece on where Britons can travel economically and with minimal pollution impact. It concludes that Liverpool is good but does have other suggestions :
BBC NEWS | Magazine | Where will Britain go on its holidays?
What do people think any places nearby to visit with wildlife interest. I'm going to France but then that's a long way if you're in Australia or Canada. Perhaps you have it so good that you don't need to travel? Let's hear about it .....
