Thanks folks I do what I can ..... but I'm not at my friendliest today!

I think this is not going to be my year. Started with tendonitis which more or less immobilised me for three weeks; then my computer seized up for a couple of weeks; then the new scanner that I bought to allow me to scan all my old prints refuses to talk to the computer..... and today I had my camera stolen .....

Grouch over!

Oh dear, that's a very sad start to the year. I hope you are soon feeling back to your usual jolly self!
That's sickening about getting your camera stolen, where did it happen and do you think there is any hope of getting it back? Fingers crossed that you will get some luck asap!

Anyway, I didn't come here to talk about you......oh yes I did....... I remember now....... so back to the reason I'm here.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To our Bestest poster Paul
Thanks Suzanne - haven't had one of your cheery (and flattering) pomes for a while!
Stolen in Waitrose of all places - what's the world coming to? Most of it's insured so I'll get a new camera but what am I going to do this weekend?
Last night I sat down to read the paper and my reading glasses fell apart!
I'd got some things planned for tomorrow but I've just looked at the date: good job I'm not superstitious ......
PS: I said to the wife that we'll have to take her camera when we go up North at the weekend (http://www.thesagegateshead.org/what...rds=&match=any ) to which she replied, 'Sorry, I broke it this afternoon.' ......
Well done Paul! Wow, 3,000! Congratulations!
Stolen... in Waitrose. Well, you will turn your back looking for exotic insects in the fruit, won't you!
Good job it's insured!
Anyway, I will look forward to your next 3,000 valuable contributions
Yes, I have to sit up all night sometimes ....
And here is the last photo taken by me on my Pro1:
I hope the thieves manage to make some good use of it - might be tricky since I have the battery charger, computer connection, instruction book &c - what a waste.
Yes, the musical Mabbott - even if they couldn't spell his name properly.
Well you are a family of many talents .
Funnily enough I am the musical one in our family, mainly due to the fact that I could play the '1978 World Cup theme' and the theme from 'Daktari' consecutively and note perfect on my stylophone at the tender age of 11!!....but that, unfortunately, was the pinnacle of my musical career which has taken a nose dive ever since.
Having said that , Music is such a lovely talent to have and it looks like he is doing exceptionally well for himself, you must be very proud!
Yes, he's quite entertaining, never short of a gig. But musicians are very expensive to run .....
I can't quite believe they said it was torture for parents in the article, what a cheek!.......mine loved me playing it. My dad even asked for a request once, he asked me to play 'Over the hills and far away!' .....sadly I didn't know that one so I just played my repertoire instead! .....lucky them eh.
