hidden msgs
Any body tell me why, if I, for example, put my pennyworth for identification under a pic, when I look again it isn't there. However if I tap any letter - B say - in the message box and 'submit' my old, hidden msg, reappears!!
Is it the others can see it and I can't see my own?
Have a look at Paul's Centaurea pic - do you see my answer?

I don't see the answer or the question! I have been seeing your responses, including the 'A's, after the pictures so there's no problem there. There are temporary things - e.g. if I make comment then this doesn't appear unless I press the redo/renew button on I.E. or whatever. I think that on this site (WAtW) there is some sort of lag; it's not just on the short-term (as above) but even after I return to the site after days or weeks, many of the settings re as I left them earlier ... ... if in doubt, press the REFRESH button.

Ah! Refresh button, thanks Paul, but I don't see the A's, just the original message. That's OK then, provided they are not just disappearing. Saves me catching a trauma!!!

Sounds like this problem. Maybe Stu was experimenting again yesterday?

Provided I constantly hit CtrlR I can now see your replies, Paul and have mostly got rid of my 'brief' messages, thanks

it sounds like something in your browser, but should be OK if you clear your browser's cookies and cache using 'Tools > Clear Private Data' at the top of the Internet Explorer window

I'm using Safari on a Mac, perhaps it's that?
