Holidays
Does anybody have any interesting holidays or wildlife seeing trips planned for this year?
We are back off to England for the wildlife (not just the family sort we haven't seen them for ages) to the Lake District for a lot of walking and I can't wait .We hope to see the Ospreys again if they return to their nesting spot (fingers crossed) and the Golden eagle we didn't see last year and a few more red squirrels. Anything else will be a bonus. It will just be such a pleasure to be in the hills again taking photos of everything that moves and doesn't also a few nature reserves are on the agenda. I suppose it seems a bit tame and boring to some - for me its perfect!

Looking at the Danube delta for May, but nothing booked yet. Otherwise they're all coming here!
Late April to the Camargue and Crau to hopefully see lesser kestrels and little bustards + thousands of migrants.
B-in-L early May - flowers, vultures, mountains (exhausting).
Nephew + family July, same again.
England, at last, (Suffolk/Norfolk) September, Minsmere, Wells.
Phew!

I'm in the lucky position that I gave up sorting out what is work, what holiday and what just aimless rambling .... I suppose the holiday will be the several weeks in Italy (with luck) but in between I shall continue my regular north-south journeys from Northumbria to Kent and all stops in between. Must try and get out of the rut and travel east and west occasionally!

Not sure yet, but hopefully I'll visit one of the Mediterranean islands in the summer, the Greek islands look quite exciting.

I'm hoping to go back to Yellowstone this year. It's been a few years since the last visit and I should be a little more handier with a camera .
