The most unusual bird
What's the most unusual bird you've ever seen? Either because of the way it looks, move or behaves, or anything else that makes it stand out from the crowd.

Tawny Frogmouth at Broome, WA on nest was bizarre looking bird. Marabous in Africa are a little weird + none too pretty!

Would you believe it, Aeshna5 has chosen the same bird I would chose. I had a Tawny Frogmouth under observation in the South West of the State. I took many photoes of the bird on the nest, first with eggs and later with fluffy white young. I wrote a poem about the bravery of the mother and it was published in a magazine.
