ID Please, bad pictures

Sorry about the quality of the images.
This bird was bathing in what is a wet area, lots of sea buckthorn and hawthorn about and the sort of place where bluethoats frequent. It was a bit far away so I can't honestly even say what sort of size it was sorry.

I picked up a list to tick off of the birds I saw on Texel at the weekend so it would be nice to add it.

Oh, that's not a different bird for my weekend-Texel list after all , I already have a Linnet and uploaded the piccie, but now I know and thanks Roy.

Just to let you know that even if I have trouble with my wagtails I know what a dry Linnet looks like .
