Exploring Taman Rimba Ampang & Perdek (16/2/2007)

This morning, me and dingli started birding late at 9am in taman rimba ampang. At the car park we met a digiscoper - Mr.Tee. Though some trees are bearing small fruits, yet the birdlife still consider low. Later we met up with Tony and his wife for lunch before continuing birding in Perdek. I managed to get 11 species for my 2007 bird list (current list: 128 species). Here is the list for today.

Upon reaching my house at 9.30pm, i heard and saw the savanna nightjar. I have heard the nightjars calling for the past 1 week, but never got the chance to see it. Tonight I think I am lucky enough to see it at last.
