ID please
I could only see the underside of the bird, so I can't say anything about wing or head colour.
Does anyone have an idea what it is please?

Is it now, I didn't have it as a chaffinch at all
. I see loads of them, though its usually with tell-tell markings on view.
Thanks Steve. I am embarrased to have needed help with an ID of such a common bird!
