They've certainly go their eyes in for ice cream cones. Could be quite frightening (what would Alfred Hitchcock make of it!). Any idea where this is? I can't see any indication .....

Well, if they are herring gulls, which I think they are, they are of the northern race with pink legs. The hotel is called Seehotel, but I'm somehow sure that's not Germany. The photographer was Russian perhaps (ru), so North eastern Europe?

What great photos Eric! They bring a smile to my face everytime I look at them. 
I love the way that nobody else seems to bat an eyelid while these birds are on their ice cream pinching mission.
All the photos are funny, but the first one makes me laugh as it looks like he still thinks he's holding on to his cone...... poor man, those birds must be as quick as lightning!
