Moorhens
Moorhens are an INCREDIBLE Floridian bird. Commonly found near water, they are known for their long, green hind toes used to walk through mud. They have a decorational red (and sometimes white) growth on their face, which is present in both genders.

Interesting to see that you have the same species as us in Europe ( Gallinula chloropus) which seems to be fairly global in its distribution (except for Australia - surprising that no one's introduced it there!).
