Aurora borealis!
How exciting, something I would love to see and people as far south as the North East of England have been lucky enough to be able to see the Aurora borealis! People in North Yorkshire, Northumberland and Tyneside have reported seeing it.
BBC News - In pictures: Northern lights above northern England
It is possible that on the 25th January the Aurora borealis will be see so far south again.
What about our friends in Sweden, Drosera and Ratatoskr have you been able to see them, or have there been reports of them being seen in the more Southerly parts of Sweden for a change?
I am much to far south here .

Thanks for the tip! I will look out for it. Never seen it but a winter trip to the north is on my list - great if it came to me instead!

I have just heard on the news that the Northern part of the Netherlands, Groningen and Friesland (maybe Drenthe in the East) could see them tonight if its a clear from cloud, from a dark place looking North. Sadly this doesn't include me but its cloudy anyway.

Aurora borealis!
Looked for the lights in the late evening when it was clear but nothing. Got up in the middle of the night and it was cloudy. I'll try again this evening.
