If we are lucky with a clear sky we may see the Draconids Meteor Shower tonight!
The moon will be almost full so will drown out all but the brightest of meteors, reducing the amount we will see (so if poss keep your back to the moon so you are looking at the darker sky) still well worth looking out for .
The peak for me in Holland should be around 10pm (CET) but its best to keep an eye out as soon as it is dark.
I started out in full hope of seeing something and was out between 8-9pm, there were a few small low clouds speeding over but the sky was clear, but I experienced nothing except for a stiff neck. I thought never fear as I am early and went out again at 9.50pm but by then it was thick cloud and started to rain not long after . So it wasn't a very eventful night unlike the Geminid Meteor shower back in December 2009 which was amazing.
