Really? I never knew that they could take on snakes and small mammals, I always assumed they ate insects.
I remember hearing hundreds croaking at night while I was camping by a lake in Florida. If I'd have known they had that type of appetite I'd have packed up and gone to a hotel, in case that fancied having a Full English Breakfast

The North American Bullfrog (Rana catesbeiana) is only native to the Nearctic region and has been introduced into California and Mexico in the early 1900’s. The species has also been introduced into South America, Asia and Southern Europe, this might have been accidental though.
They prefer to live in warm, still and shallow water and are becoming more common where humans have modified; increased temperature, aquatic vegetation (common occurrences in waters that have been polluted) provide the bullfrog with suitable habitat and an environment free of preditors.
Apparently they are the largest frog in North America and can weigh half a kilogram and can grow to over 20 centimetres.
As Nightshade says, they eat practicly anything, even bats have been know to be prey and they even won’t hesitate at eating their own kind! I have no idea why they eat all that they do, maybe Atlascaproni can help out there a long with anything else he knows? But their hunting habit is just to sit and wait for a nice snack to come a long and when something does, they grab it with their tongue in a split second.
