Africa :)

Hey I'm going to Africa for 3 weeks in a months time, I'm going with a group of friends (finished uni course earlier in the year and time to go exploring before settling down into a mundane office job ) The thing is none of us have been b4 and havent got a clue what preparation we need to take including jabs, had a look round on the internet and seen things like malaria, typhoid, a bit scary really. Is it best to just go and see a GP? The other thing I'm stuck with is travel insurance, I'm presuming it will be cheaper if we get it as a group thing? Had a look on Cheap annual travel insurance | single trip holiday insurance quotes and they've got group insurance, is this the cheapest way to do it or can anyone suggest anything else or any cheap companies to go with, so far moneysupermarket seem like the cheapest

On the health issue - yes your GP would be the best bet: they should have up-to-date listings of what immunisation is needed where ... and they'll do the immunisation for a small fee ... and remember to keep informed about what's happening while you're away ... in case there's an outbreak of something nasty where you're heading....

You don't want to pay too much for your insurance but it's worth reading the small print of what you're covered for: Endsleigh is good and it is aimed at students.
