Kafue National Park wildlife
Hi, I just got back from a brief trip to Kafue National Park in December. Whilst staying in a camp there I set up my camera trap to see what wildlife was in the area. Although there were hippos nearby I didn't manage to capture them, although I did get a porcupine flaring its spines nicely and some mischievous vervet monkeys. Hope you like the clips.

Hi Steefo, you always seem to use film/video for remarkable footage from all over the world and it is great to be able to see animals just getting on with life.
Do you never take "normal" photo's or is it always film for you? Are you a film maker or is it a hobby at this stage?

Hi Goosey,
I actually have just finished studying conservation so my videos from Brazil and Zambia were from when I was lucky enough to carry out project work in these countries. In terms of when I'm in the UK I just do it as a hobby.
I do also take normal photos both on a camera trap and normal camera but i'm just a novice with normal camera. With the camera trap I prefer to use video as you get to see the animals behaviour and lets you get a feel for what they are like in a way. Glad you like the footage.

Hi Wild worlds, I stayed at Mayukuyuku Camp which is not far from the main highway that runs though the park. It was a nice camp to stay in as we were travelling on a budget. They also had the luxury tents as well!
