I am afraid you are going to have to add your images via the gallery, rather annoying I know - have some very dodgy pictures there myself just because I wanted to add them to a post.
Here's how you go about doing it
To add an image to a post, its best to have two tabs open.
On Tab 1. write your post ready
On Tab 2. upload your image to the gallery.
Then copy and paste the whole Linked Thumbnail: code of your image/s and paste them into your post going to the other Tab.
If you have more than 1 image to put into a post, can you number each one and press space between each image code.
Click preview to make sure all images are there and in the right place before you Submit reply.
