Well, we've now had our holiday in Majorca, and I must admit that I was a bit disappointed with the lack of Tourist Info on wildlife sites, or gen on local species which we might expect to see. Very few walks were obviously indicated and folk looked at us as though we were stupid when we said we would maybe walk 5 miles from one small town to another, when we could have caught a bus. Since the island is 'virtually closing down for the winter' I feel there's opportunites missed by not promoting the wildlife more.
I'll give a brief description of flowers, plants etc. seen - in future - if I can find their names!
