I think that is such a good idea Fi.
Some times when you see these adopt or sponser something schemes, especially with some of the larger animals they are so expensive and though you would dearly like to help its totally out of reach.
My daughter had to do a project for school earlier in the year and wrote to a seal sanctuary, with all the info she recieved from them was sponser plans which you could name a seal, then be present when it is released and see it anytime in the convalescing period. This scheme very good and had great intentions and the price obviously included vet care. But I wasn't very popular when I had to tell her we couldn't afford the hundreds of euros it would cost for the months of care a seal would need.
Something like sponser a hedgehog or plant a tree are also lovely and I would love to recieve a present like that knowing some good has come from it.
