That is terrible news, you would have thought that given the the steps being taken that there would be a more positive out look for their future. "land deveopement" you would have thought that Australia was large enough and sensible enough to learn by other countries mistakes!
I would never have thought that dogs would have been a threat, and presumed that koalas lived in trees.
What sort of safe crossing have been provided so thay can cross the road? We have a thread on the go which you could discuss them at some time - here is the link -
