Unfortunately not a lot of sign that other USAmerican politicians are showing much concern about the environment:

The Peace Price is a bit of a strange category isn't it? Can relate to all sorts of activity and involve some very strange people .... but that's the nature of prizes in general, I suppose?

But yes, it would be good to have an annual prize for someone doing something serious for wildlife/Nature/the environment - perhaps we should have our own? Who's your nomination?
