Well for me it would probably be the Wolf too.....canis lupus....grey wolf..
For me it sybolizes wildness, and the pack social structure is suprisingly like human behaviour especially relating to our hunter/gathers past, and in many respects is closer to our own behaviour than the primates. The wolfs absorbsion into our lives through it's decendants (dogs) is another interesting subject in this same theme!
